All the articles I read in the past indicated that Jen did want to have children, so it would really surprise me that they would be breaking up b/c she didn't want to have children and he did.
Also, don't so easily assume that IF the children issue is what broke them up, that they didn't discuss it before they got married. People can change their minds throughout the course of a relationship and as they grow as a person.
