His girlfriend is one of my soror's and one of my best friends. Some great songs to check out are "I feel like drinking today","West Texas sailing", "My momma said". He's great, and I am not just biased.
Also, Great Divide has the ultimate college song-"College Daze", I swear it sooooo describes college life!!!!

On earth as it is in Texas,
Missy

Of course I know who Lloyd Maines is. Being from texas, how could you not? My ex's mom dated Lloyd in high school, and is still family friends with him. I actually got to meet him when we were in lubbock last year. He is like the godfather of texas music. Very cool indeed.

I downloaded GD's college daze. I'll listen to it later. Thanks for the tip.
