I have two older sisters. I was the youngest and DID get away with everything. The best part, I KNEW I was getting away with everything.
My oldest sister is 47 years old. Doesnt look it. We were never that close, because of our age difference. I mean, how is a 30 year old gonna kick it with a 10 year old? Kinda funny, because we'll go places, and people will think shes my mom, because we look alike. I tease her about that a lot. Shes nice, but was raised differently (boarding schools) and it messed her up BAD. Shes all about the failed relationships. We didnt get close till my father passed away when I was in high school. That was wierd also, because she had never been involved in the family, now it was like instant sister...just add water. That took a while to get used to. She has always been the fun one tho. Up for going out, and is a kid at heart. She can be really two faced tho, and I hate that. She thinks I idolise her and tries to manupilate me to her side on a lot of issues. She doesnt know I got her number.
My other sister is the one I was raised with and is 31. I WORSHIP her. We are so close. We fought like cats and dogs growing up, now I cant imagine life without her. I didnt realize how special she was to me till she had her baby in June. After the delivery, the whole family was fawning over the kid, while all I could think of was to see her and know she was OK. Its wierd, because my mom is jealous of the relationship we have together, and so is her husband, and my oldest sister. I cant help it, were just close. Megan rocks tho. I totally respect her. She always has been the responsible one, took care of me if I was sick, was the classic hurried child, let me have a life growing up, because she knew it was important, so she cooked and cleaned and stuff while I played. She always worries aout me, more so than I do. I was devistated when she left for college. Way cool, I introduced her to a brother from my chapter, and they got married. So a good friend married my sister. Too cool. She lives in Houston, but we talk everyday on the phone. Have to. She visited me last summer in town and we partied like rock stars. She was amaized at all the people I knew and how I party and stuff, since she's a momma now, she always wants to hear about my adventures and stuff. She says she lives through my life. How cool is this? She told me she wants to have another kid, just so it can have the opportunity to experience how awesome a siling relationship can be. Gotta love the big sis.
