So, I'm just nervous, like should I just give up the aspiration, or just go to those houses again? Is it really that looked down apon to join so late?... Also, different houses on my campus have different GPA requirements, and right now I had to withdraw from a class late and ended up with an F. So my GPA went down. Only 2 houses can even take me with that GPA, and the ones I loved its about .4 points too low , so thats another reason I'm considering waiting... is that a good idea?
Instead of sorority recruitment and sorority life, take this semester to get involved with another campus organization that is less demanding of your time. You will have fun, make friends and still be able to accomplish your goals. Take this time to get your grades up.

If you are still interested in recruitment later on, do realize that having a low GPA and/or being an upperclassman will make it more likely you will have a less competitive recruitment than an underclassman.

Consult with the office of Greek Life at your school regarding questions and requirements related to your school's recruitment events.

ETA: You are in college to get an education. If your grades are suffering, make it your priority to get them up. If sorority life interests you, keep in mind that sororities have high academic standards. This begins with the membership selection process (recruitment) and is maintained while all sisters are active collegians.
