I would think that some girls would pick some events like Iniatiation which is worth 100 points over a weekly chapter of 50 points. Do they know the amount of points they have? What happens if a girl has an actual emergancy? and she missed a few events. How would the points work then?

We really don't have any problems b/c everyone wants to be able to go to formals, etc. Yes, girls are kept informed of their points.
If something is worth points, and you can't attend, you must submit an excuse at least 2 weeks before the event. It has to be approved by Exec. It has to be a reasonable excuse (class, unaviodable work, illness, or something like that).
If something comes up the day of an event (example: I came down with a kidney infection the day of an initiation) you just have to meet with Exec. to explain. They'll excuse you. Whenever you're excused, you get the points.
