Okay I know this post is old as ever but lets put this into perspective. my brother here u are;The pot caliing the kettle black. You are contradicting urself in every sense of the word. The same thing that u are saying about exclusion that the other blacks did Kappa did and continues to do until this day, we all do in some shape or form and that is the real reason why the general public cannot recieve the bglo and what we do, because they dont quite understand. I mean no disrespect but my friend u seem to have limited understanding on this whole pledging issue aswell. How could u fix ur face to say that kappa and those who were created at white universities were better off or have more credibility? Do u not understand that Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma were for the community? to reach out to our struggling BLACK brothers and sisters who couldnt make it to college? Was that not the goal of many other orgs like us? perhaps so or maybe not, but we wont go there. As far as ur founders being pledged...who told u that, were u there? Do u know anyone who was? But hey trust ur history ur supposed to. I believe it, we all pledge if we sacrafice and work hard for what our founders struggle to build..Vowels, committment and dedication, The process does not have to include standing up everynigt getting beat down like a dog in the pooring rain. How can u do that and be about scholarship at the same time. Wood I can understand do u know why u took wood? Do u know the difference between hazing and pledging? Do u consider having ur tail bone broken by a big brother (like the kappaI know)pledging? If so ur wrong. How is that leading someone across the burning sands of the nubian dessert? I call that hazing.
