I have a tattoo of a half-moon w/ clouds and stars...on my lower back of course.
It was my 20th birthday gift to myself. It definitely hurt worse than getting my tongue pierced while it was being done (I threw up while I was having my tattoo done); however, the aftermath of the tattoo was nothing compared to my tongue piercing. I miss my tonge ring.
Now that I've had my tattoo for 5 1/2 years, I think it's time to have it touched up. The colors faded from where I never covered it up when I laid in the tanning bed.
Getting a tatoo is such an awesome experience. Five minutes after I finished I was ready for another. I think I might eventually get one more, on my hip, of the Gemini symbol. Someday.
