Has anyone else from San Francisco or Berkeley been on RW before?? Are they always more "eccentric"????? Sheesh, I don't even know anyone in SF who reads tarot cards and such.
Actually, ya know - once I encountered a tourist (I live in SF) and he asked me, "So where are all the hippies at? Can ya direct me - I wanna see them."
I've had tourists come up to my friends and they have actually said, "Gee, San Francisco seems so tame. Have you seen the film "Berkeley in the '60's? How come there's no activism going on?"<--NEWSFLASH: 1) This is SF - not Berkeley, which is a different town. 2) There IS activism going on, but it's not the same activism of the '60s that they are looking for.
