Actor Wesley Snipes is taking on the city of New York. The Blade star is suing the city of New York over a paternity suit. Snipes claims the city has no jurisdiction to seek his DNA for a paternity suit. This case involves an Indiana woman who is claiming that Snipes is the father of her three year-old son. She says she met Snipes in a Chicago crack house where they had sex. Snipes says no way. He says the woman is a crack addict who is mentally ill. A woman with a history of making false claims in the past, Snipes says she has made up stories about Prince, Oprah Winfrey and Former President Bill Clinton. Snipes says he has never met this woman, and that the City of New York cannot make him do anything because he is a resident of Orlando, Florida.

The movie ‘Barbershop’ is coming to TV. The Showtime network will be developing a weekly series based on the hit movie. Ice Cube who starred in the movies will be the show’s Executive Producer.


Actor Morris Chestnut is coming to TV. He is getting his own show on NBC. The show is called ‘Dante,’ and Chestnut will play a Former Football Superstar whose ego is so big, he is out of touch with reality.

The mother of a 17 year-old boy who claims that the late Ray Charles is her son’s father is going to have to face his lawyers. The woman says she was Ray’s girlfriend for years, and that she has not been with another man. The Ray Charles Estate is worth $100 million, and the lawyers don’t want to part with the money. The 17 year-old has yet to undergo DNA tests to determine paternity.



Jennifer Lopez is having problems with her first husband. He is suing her saying he was wrongfully dismissed when he was fired as the manager of her restaurant. He worked for her for a year, and made $1,000 a week.


Rapper Kurtis Blow is now a minister. Kurtis Blow is best known for his 1979 hit ‘The Breaks’ and ‘Christmas Rappin.’ Blow recently turned 45. He’s a born again Christian and one of the founding members of the Hip Hop Church in Harlem.
