I feel bad for women who aren't too sure about joining the chapter and still go ahead with Initiation. I know as recently as last semester we had a womn initiate who wasn't extremely active during her pledge period and she seemed unsure so we talked to her and wanted to make sure it was for her and she was positive with her decision. She assured us she was, and then a semester later she resigned.
It just makes me really sad.
