I didn't get that question so much from my family (they're all about my starting a career and like, finishing grad school), but I get it from my mother's Southern Belle friends.

What is the pressure in the "good old South" to go from Daddy's house to the sorority house to your husband's house? I know only a handful of people from college who are married now, but half of my HS class is hitched with kids on the way. WTF, mates?
