UTEP
The University of Texas-El Paso has had three name changes, it was the Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy, then Texas Western College, and now UTEP. The architechture of the campus is Buthanese, designed that way after the presidents wife saw an article in National Geographic magazine. The first school to ever field an all black basketball team, a team which beat an all white Kentucky team coached by Adolph Rupp in 1966 for the national championship. Which will be a disney movie out next year called "Glory Road." Just a few facts.
