The answer to my question is the Cleveland Spiders who went 20-134 in 1899.
Next question. Who holds the record for most saves in a single season?

That's Bobby Thigpen, with 57 . . . I still have the rookie card, which i snagged early in that season, thinking he'd get the record.
MY TURN!!!!
We've all heard the BS about Mike Hampton breaking the single-season home run record (for a pitcher), which currently stands at 11 . . . now, that's not entirely true - who holds the record for most HRs by someone who pitched at least 100 innings in a season? How many? (HINT: he was a left-handed pitcher who twice threw more than 300 innings in a season . . . )
