Lady Pi Phi, I'm not sure if you read an article that was in the National Post a few years ago about an elementary school in Markham, Ontario. The school profiled is made up mostly of first generation Canadians and immigrants who speak another language at home. Yet, that school scored above provincial standards in the Grade 3 and Grade 6 tests.
