It happened in suburban Chicago in the early 90's. Aside from killing the mother for the baby, the offenders killed her older daughter. They also kidnapped and killed her older son. The baby was found alive. I think the motive was jealousy---supposedly, the female offender wanted this woman's baby 'cause she wanted a "mixed" baby
