I remember watching Sesame Street Christmas when I was little and being horrified when Ernie sang "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." I thought he was saying, "Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days, UP YOURS." Oops
I still sing it that way instead of "...of yore."
