Ok. I too don't have super curly hair, but its curly enough. And on top of it, its long and ridiculously thick, so..lots to deal with.

For Curly days I use:
KMS or Rusk Mousse. (I prefer KMS tho both good)
Sorbie Curl Form
For lots of curls I blow dry with a diffuser--makes the curls smaller, curlier, more defined.
For looser curls, I leave in a towel for 20 minutes and then mousse and sorbie it, blow it dry for like 3 minutes and let it air dry the rest of the way.

For Straight Days:
Redken Glass and a COnair straigtener/steamer with comb attachment that you can get at target/walmart for $20.
When I am done my hair is as straight as Lucy Liu's. -- I've tried every combination of product to get it straight and frizz free and its this $10 bottle of Redken Glass that works like a wonder drug.

But by far the best thing I've done for my hair and the way it looks is to STOP washing it everyday. It goes under the water for a rinse and condition everyday, but I only shampoo it every other day. This has made the texture and hold of it, whether curly or straight 1000% better. I used to think I could never do this, that I HAD to shampoo everyday, but its just so much better since I stopped!!!

whew. Ok that's Amy's Hair Care Regimen. ha ha LOL.
