Honestly, I think it just gets grouped in there because more often than not, they are placed into multicultural Greek councils on campus.


OFF on a tangent...
I think, that in America we fail to realize all of the cultures WITHIN a cultural category. For example, Puertoricans and Mexicans honestly don't have much in common with each other. From the outside, one may meekly think 'Well..they both speak Spanish'. But the reality is that most dont look alike, talk alike, think very alike, eat alike or enjoy the same music.

Judging from what I know from my Asian friends, it's the same thing. For example, Filipinos and Chinese people...very very different.

So in a sense, an LGLO or an AGLO are kinda multicultural to those who join.
