Ok...so this is kind of off topic...

One sunday of high school, I was coming back from a day at the beach/church with a buddy of mine. Just as he was dropping me off at my house, 3 cop cars pull up behind us (IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE) with lights on and the whole spiel. I was freaking out, thinking a. what the heck did we do? and b. My parents are watching this from the window and are gonna kill me!. I knew he got pulled over sometimes just for being a young kid in a 90G Benz ( I know...one of THOSE kids...I get stuck with the old volvo, folks...haha). Any way, a cop informed us that we had exceeded the speed limit by blah blah blah. I know, 3 cop cars...yeah, I live in a smaaaaall town with bored cops. Turns out he had pulled my friend over before and if he got this ticket, his liscence would be suspended. Then he shined the flash light at me and asked who I was. I responded and told him that this was my house. He told me I looked familiar. I was flashing back to all those high school parties of under age drinking that had been broken up by the cops. I was praying that he didn't remember me from one of those! He asked if I was a cheerleader at SMHS and I nervously gave an affirmation. "No, No" he said, "That's not it." "You were the homecoming queen weren't you?!" I was shocked and laughed. "Yes, sir." I explained that my friend was just trying to "get me back from church before my curfew." He looked to my friend and said, "You know, you can't afford this strike on your record, but since you're taking the Homecoming Queen home from church, I'll let you off this time. (turning to me) You're friend owes you one, my daughter has an autographed program from the Homecoming football game from you. Have a nice night." My friend definitely owed me one.
