I live off campus in a 10-person house and I love it. I HATED living in a dorm, especially freshman year. I'm standoffish when I first meet people, and being surrounded by that many people who were constantly in my face just really irritated me. I hated having RAs who were my age telling me what to do, I hated the mandatory hall activities, and I hated the forced interaction. Let me get used to school at my own pace, please.
