The Sporting News' Best College Football Stadiums

#1 Neyland Stadium (Tenn.)
#2 Notre Dame
#3 Florida Field (Florida)
#4 Kyle Field (Texas A&M)
#5 Husky Stadium (Wash.)
#6 Tiger Stadium (LSU)
#7 Michigan Stadium
#8 Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin)
#9 Memorial Stadium (Nebraska)
#10: Autzen Stadium (Oregon)

KS 361 times Kyle has been referred to as the greatest college football atmosphere by the Gameday crew

Gameday says that every weekend (not to rip on Kyle Field, more on Gameday)

Anyway, here's Kiper's Top 10 Home-field Advantages:

1 - Florida ("The Swamp")
2 - LSU ("Death Valley")
3 - Tennesee (Neyland Stadium)
4 - Oregon (Autzen Stadium)
5 - Syracuse (Carrier Dome)
6 - Washington State
7 - Washington (Husky Stadium)
8 - Iowa (Kinnick Stadium)
9 - Nebraska (Memorial Stadium)
10 - Miami (Orange Bowl)

These are based less on quality of fans or scenery and more on noise, disruption, etc, from what it sounds - here's the link

Personally, I think any stadium can be tough, but many of the bigger ones (the 100k+ monstrosities) wind up being quite a ways from the actual field, and only TN makes both lists. Interesting. Sort of.
