I don't really know that it's revenge but I still find this amusing. I broke up with my college boyfriend a week before we graduated because he was cheating on me. I never really saw him until this summer. I was heading to CO for a weekend trip and was flying out and going thru airport security when I looked up and guess who was screening bags. So while I'm going on vacation, he was the one standing there checking my bags.
And then he stopped me and started talking to me. He decided that it was necessary to tell me how much money he was making at this job. (Which I thought was pretty tacky.) I guess he thought that I would be impressed or something. Instead I just smiled, did some quick math in my head and realized that I was making a lot more money than him. So, I'm going to have to say that I agree that 'living well is the best revenge.'
