Odd things worth $$
I'll bite the carrot on this one considering my user name.....
Well, we know about fraternity and sorority pins and the big surprises on how some of them go for so much on ebay. Farmhouse Fraternity, which many of us did not have on our campuses as undergrads, are worth $250 for a pin from TODAY. Very rare. I have sold a few pins which were not listed corectly the first time.
Other than that, my husband's grandmother bought him a Dapper Dan doll in 1973 - she misplaced it and it was discovered a few months ago in her attic after her passing. It was in the original box and had the four original outfits also in mint package condition. I could not give this "collectible" to my toddler so I sold it on ebay for $100 and used it buy a fraternity pin...um, I mean more toys for my son!
