OK, I finally rented the movie...
...and the plotline was identical to that of Tha Brothahood.
It involved a girl who got a 4-year scholarship to a university, and during the opening credits, she dances to some synthesized porno music to celebrate.
Anyway, her grandmother gives her her (deceased) mother's diary to read, b/c the girl wants to pledge Alpha Alpha Kappa like her grandmother did. So she reads it, and the flashbacks begin.
Again, the plotline was the exact same as Tha Brothahood, only it involved women. Oh, and even though the pledge setting was 1989, there were anachronisms galore. No 1989 fashion statements (or misstatements), modern day Internet websites, etc.
Oh, I gotta give away the ending, b/c it was THAT funny.
The girl goes and pledges AAK anyway, and like the guy in Tha Brothahood, she is late for her set. She is told to keep her head in the up position (Up periscope! UP!). Next thing you know, she got whacked in the face by a pillow and down she went. Freeze frame. Roll credits. I found that to be hilarious.
I got the rental for $1.50, so IMHO I got off easy.
