For me, it would be Rodney Dangerfield. He reminds me of my late Grandfather Irving, and reminds me of many of the better parts of my childhood spent with my family. Not to mention how much he still makes me laugh in Caddy Shack, Easy Money (I love the regular guy look), Back to School, and others.

Bumping because it wasn't that long ago that Rodney passed away, and because I've got some new answers.
Yogi Bera and Mel Brooks.
Yogi Bera seems like such a good person, who has given so much (a lot of it by mistake.) His inability to to get a grasp on the English language now makes him seem like an unlikely prophet.
Mel Brooks has made me laugh, so many times, with classics like
Blazing Saddles and
Young Frankenstein (its pronounced "Fronkensteen!") He's still creative, and I'd hate to see him go.
