Killarney Rose may have it right. Maybe the Canadians are just more polite.

The International Editor from the Globe and Mail had some very interesting comments on NPR yesterday -- but sharing them would just start a flame war.

Suffice it to say that Canada and the US simply have some fairly major disagreements.
We are more polite... after all the first protest sign Bush saw was a large sign saying "Please Go Home"... and Bush was polite too... he thank us for "waving at him with all five fingers".
