So there was a question that preceded the drama? But that drama had me cracking up because I never knew anyone could be that arrogant about their org (to say the least).
My (abridged) POV is that we are all humans before and after Greekdom. Ever since you were being raised by your parents, you knew what relatives you loved, liked, and just didn't want to be held by. As an adult, you still learn more of what you respect, adore, abhor, etc. Regardless of your belief system, you don't embrace every single person out there as a family member or even a friend just because it's human nature that everyone doesn't like everyone.
Being in Greekdom, you'll find Greeks are the same way (We're still human!), and it's something you'll have to expect. As someone who became a Sigma Woman via graduate chapter, I have seen it all when it comes to acceptance and respect, even in my own chapter. There are sorors that love me because I'm a hard worker that was eventually elected secretary after two years of being a member. Others couldn't (and a few still can't) get past the fact that I didn't "pledge". Yet, there are undergrad sorors from Death chapters that know my heart beats for the Blue and Gold and accept me with love. My three years of Greekdom have provided enough of an experience in itself, and I have grown greatly through it.
Please continue doing your research, but you have to decide if your desire to represent the principles and do the work of the org you are interested in is stronger than others' opinions of you.
