The point for these type of things for us is that we are in college... we are suppossed to have fun. For many people dressing up like this to get male/female attention is fun.
for the last 20 years my frat has thrown a dance called Erotic City. It is the 2nd most popular event at our school after Mona Kai which is another event we do and I don't want to get into. Erotic City is simple, Less dressed is best. The whole thing is giving people a chance to be the sexy person they are but can't be all the other 365 days a year. For EC imagine 300 women in lingerie, bikinis, whatever, and 300 guys in boxers, pimp costumes, robes etc. It's fun and it gives people a chance to feel sexy and have fun doing it.
People need to be not so uptight.
