Strangly, I have found telling the truth has got me out of 2 speeding tickets.
1st time i was late for pole vaulting practie. as it turns out the police officer used to pole vault- score!
2nd time, i was late for an alumni brunch. based on past experience, i told the truth; his wife and daughter were in a sorority- score!
As for work/school- the doctor thing works well...especially because I am constantly at one doctor or anothers.
