If anyone were that interested (I'm not, btw), they could go back a year or so and read my concerns about The President and the arrogance of he and his administration as a whole.
The problem for me in the past election, is that I had concerns about Senator Kerry as well.
How I ended up voting is nobody's business but mine.
However, I am concerned that with four years with basically nothing to lose in terms of re-election, that arrogance may take us down some roads that worry me. Among those are the deficit, expansion of the Patriot Act and thus loss of civil liberties, the move to the right from the moderate values I hold, what I consider the blurring of the separation of church and state and the basic type of dishonesty and cynicism on the part of the administration that got us into Iraq in the first place.
The fact is, though, that even though this election certainly can't be called a mandate, we have President Bush for another four years and I will support him to the extent that I can while maintaining my personal beliefs, morals and attitudes.
