Maybe I’m just a misinformed, unsympathetic Southern white girl, but it seems like minority groups (not exclusively African-Americans) rightfully demand equal rights. My problems come the same people feel that they can bypass rules because they are a minority. I am truly sorry that minorities (especially African-Americans) have been treated so poorly in the past, but the only way to get past this racism is for everyone to leave it alone. This means minorities cannot demand special treatment and they cannot scream racism whenever something bad happens to them.
But hey, that’s just how I feel.
