Although not really something I hold true myself, I know a few people who are basically "nonsexual" or "asexual" if you want to use that term. My best friend is pretty nonsexual; she just has a really low, inactive libido she says. Stats: she's had sex (i.e. intercourse) with 2 people, started having sex at 21 (she's now 25), has had other sexual relations but very limited, and it's been almost 3 years since her last sexual encounter. She's just not into it. You may think she's

bitter, jaded, ugly and overweight
(from IowaStatePhiPsi ), but that's VERY false.

Another of my male friends is 24, straight, very attractive, intelligent, etc. He has no known interest in sex either. Our mutual friends know that he has had sexual encounters (with women only), but we believe he's just afraid of turning out like his brothers and sisters (all of whom have illegitimate children and dysfunctional relationships; all of whom had a lot of sexual experiences from ages 15-20).

I think some people really aren't all about sex. More power to them...
