I've never been to Cancun, but we went to Cozumel on our honeymoon last year
It was so much fun! There are a lot of resorts there, and a lot to do, if you like to do outdoorsy stuff and go shopping (who doesn't?). That would be a great place to go for Christmas! And it's warm!
