Ok ok ok - so i don't look like a total douche bag, i was using the term "trip the light fantastic" just f-ing around, to emphasize the slip into bostonian . . . the more accurate BUese translation would be:
The mixer with DG should be chill as hell; those girls can throw down. I'm bout ready to get hammed, b/c i really shit the bed on that ECT test . . . that can eat a bag though, let's head out.
Subtle difference b/w that and the 1950's-clad answer from before . . . all semantics though
