No I've never worked for the PM... I worked for his superior
I worked as the Ceremonial Guard (think of the Marine Guard at Arlington) up in Ottawa and was at many, many functions greeting the dignitaries of too many countries to count... each has their own song that they play, sometimes a special "accolade" sometimes simply the national anthem of the nation in question. In the end I came to the conclusion that the office and image wasn't what impressed me, but the person... and unfortunately too many politicans are just dicks once the public and press are gone...
