As for following the girls through a year of school, I got into it... it reminded me of the Sweet Valley High books I read in middle school.

But I can't see how this book could be considered a case study. Or a study in women's behavior. I haven't seen AR's PhD in sociology, so.... I don't know how seriously I can take her recommendations. I don't think she did an effective scientific study, and if she's going to pass the book off as journalism, then she should omit the Sweet Valley High narrative.
Kinda off topic but I used to love those Sweet Valley High books. I still have a bunch of them and read them during the summer when I'm really bored.. they rank right up there with my Baby Sitters Club collection.

I'm a huge dork when it comes to things like that!
