I can't help you on the whole greek life thing at those schools. But for the daughter who will be pre-med, I have some advice.
My school cranks out so many pre-med students it's insane! But what I've learned from our provosts and our med school admissions is that med schools would rather take a student with a 4.0 in history over a student w/ a 3.7 in biology. So just as long as the student still takes the required courses for admission is does not matter what the BA/BS is in!
