The last all-white team to win a national championship was '69 -- Texas (a fact that I love to bring up to anyone who follows UT).
It was actually OU and Barry Switzer that started to really recruit non-white athletes which pretty much forced everyone else to open their doors. Hence the OU championships throughout the 70's.
I think if you throw everything out there but the last 20 years though, you're right. Miami has a good case for having the best recent history of football where championships are concerned. Good luck on #2 for the decade in the 2006 NC. Looks like the U is out of the picture again for this year
