A road by my office was recently under construction. Part of it is boulevard-style (has a big grassy area in the middle between the two lanes).
Well, the eastbound lane under construction, so anyone who wanted to go east had to take the marked detour route. Not this one chick, though. I'm driving down the westbound lane when all of a sudden I see a car coming RIGHT AT ME! I slam on the brakes, move to the right a little, and give her a "what the f*** are you doing??" look. We both had our windows rolled down, and we have the following exchange:
Stupid Motorist: Move over!
Me: Are you kidding me? You're driving on the wrong side of the street!
SM: Well the road's under construction. What else am I supposed to do?
Me: Uh...take the detour, like everyone else is.
SM: Oh, shut up.
With that, she drives off, still on the wrong side of the street.
