I am sooooo sorry if everyone's sick of this topic. In my field, however, it's still hot sh**

In response to the discourse on the NETWORK regarding the 'DL' phenomenon months
ago (my apologies if deemed off topic)...

Promo for Wednesday's Oprah Show:

"My Husband's Gay (TV-14)
Their life looked perfect. Her husband slept with hundreds of men.
Married...cheating...and gay." - Oprah.com

Interesting (not surprising) side note - The TV spot depicts a Caucasian man
telling his story. There is no voice over which mentions the "down low" nor
HIV/AIDS in the promo. It is implied that the show will focus on infidelity and
coming out. It's quite the converse from the JL King dialogue.

For those of us who work in HIV/AIDS, particularly in communities of color, this
will be an insightful comparison (JL King vs My Husband's Gay) of the way
mainstream media depicts sexuality, race and HIV/AIDS.
