We also have that rule, No booze/No boys on Bid Day Night. I don't think it is necessarily a National rule but something our chapter felt was necessary to keep in mind how we should present ourselves to our new sisters. We also have a No booze/No boys rule on night before initiation and on initiation night. Once again, another night where alcohol is NOT needed (nor boys...it's a girl's night out thing).
Although we have a sisterhood event after Bid Day the following events in the evening are optional. But most of us attend them anyway because we want to get to know our new sisters!
