I simply cannot handle "palmetto bugs", in any way, shape or form. I am just not a vermin person.
My house is VERY close to the country & a major parklands, so deer etc in the backyard is an everyday occurance. Unfortunately, I have to watch out for mice, too, as it turn cold, but I [heart pumping wildly] can [/wild heart] take care of a mouse if found. But...
A friend of mine has the bad habit of not shutting their dishwasher in between running it. One morning, she put the breakfast dishes & soap in, turned it on, and went to work. When she went to unload it that night, she found a drowned mouse in there!! Eeeewwwww......!!!!!
I went totally ballistic when she told me about this!! I would have had to throw away and/or sterilize everything that was in the dishwasher! There would have to be mouse fur in the trap, and all. But she just ran it again. Guess whose house I won't eat in...
