Okay, enough of the P.C. BS...the term "sorority girl" was the way my godmother described herself. Even my late mother would speak about going out to dinner w/her friends, the "DAR girls".
For women raised in that era, the term "girls" wasn't considered an insult. It wasn't my intent to be viewed as misogynistic.
