In a few short weeks, Honolulu will elect a new mayor in 8 years. Neither candidate won the majority in the primary, and the commercials are just making me sick.

Supporters from both camps have been stealing yard signs, vandalizing and taking down the ones that are hanging proudly on private property, etc...and while I'm not too thrilled with either candidate, I'll be voting for the lesser of two evils this November 2nd.

THEN I have a HS classmate who's running for a state house seat. This girl (who I also don't care for too much), caused drama when we in Student Council, and then when we were at UH-M she was the butt of ridicule within the ASUH because of her racist remarks (she's Japanese, btw) and was eventually kicked off the Senate. Now she's running on the Republican ticket, and she's making all these accusations against the incumbent she's running against, accusing him of not even living in the district...all her crap is totally false. Some people just don't change. Thank God I don't live in her district
