I think consistant ELC visits help a chapter, but this was our first one in 3 semesters. I understand budgets and all, but that is a bit excessive. We also traded an ELC visit for an Impact I retreat.
I just hate to see INT so detatched from the real world of colleges and fraternities. Perhaps this is true only in the south, but I know not every chapter in the area follows the national ideal.
I firmly believe a program of fraternity education and big brother packets printed or at least offered by INT HQ would help alleviate many of these problems, at least for us. Post them online in the chapter resources section or include them in the Paedagogus.
