I know what you mean. There is a national fraternity on our campus that are not the most productive people in the world. As one of my she-friends asked me, "where do they recruit from?" "It seems like they scrape their pledges from the bottom of the barrel." I did not respond to her, because although I do not like the fraternity, I try not to say demeaning things about other greek organizations. I dont think all chapters of their group are like them. In fact, I know that this chapter is a deviation from the high standards of their national organization.

Some more of my pet peeves are when people travel in the passing lane, or talking on a cell phone in a restaurant. I remember eating in a nice bistro one time... a woman walked in talking on a cell phone in one hand, and a baby in the other. I joked to my father asking, "If you threw a basketball at her face, which would she drop?" I guess I just dont like cell phones in general... I dont see why peoples lives are so much more important now than they were five years ago when noone had them? Why do people need to stand in a line, call home, and say, "yeah, im just waiting in a line." Some woman was sunbathing and talking on her cellphone at our health club. Lol. Society.
