Gosh--I have a LOT of pet peeves. Great topic BTW!
#1--When people exaggerate their yawns. It's the most annoying sound in the world. It becomes a big sigh-fest. I know that everyone yawns--it's just natural--but could you please not do it so loudly? It just makes other people annoyed AND tired, too! (Yawns are contagious.)
#2--People who insist on smoking right in front of your face. I have a few friends and acquaintances who insist on puffing when I'm talking to them. They know I HATE cigarettes and drugs--yet, they still blow smoke in front of my face. The smell is repulsive.
#3--SLOW DRIVERS...ahh! I know many slow drivers, and when I'm in the car with them...for some reason, I get VERY very nervous, b/c I know I will be late to something. Driving at 20 mph is not my cup of tea!
#4--On the other hand--I hate drivers who INSIST on driving at a crazy 90+ mph on a street where the max limit is like 35. Go ahead and drive at 90 when you're alone, if you must (even though you just might kill yourself)--but don't insist on speeding when your friends are obviously uncomfortable!
#5--People who don't turn their turn signal off. Makes me nervous for some reason, especially if I'm in the car with them.
#6--People who breathe down your neck, who must talk thisclose to you...have they ever heard of personal space??!
#7--Well, hope this doesn't offend anyone--but I bet many of you know drivers (especially my fellow teenagers) who play their music REALLY loud that you can hear it from like 5 blocks away...and then they have all their friends stuffed in, and they speed like maniacs. Plus you can see that they're smoking or whatever at the same time, too. That scares the hell outta me..b/c they're having such good times that they're likely to crash into me.
#8--Construction workers, old men, strangers, etc. who keep on whistling at you. It's really annoying, especially if you don't want the attention.
#9--Egotistical guys who think they're hot $hit, and won't take "NO" for an answer.
