GC never ceases to make me smile. Thank you much for the birthday wishes and greetings. As we speak, I'm on my way to the family b-day dinner.
Soror UpPinkies, I don't know yet what I'm getting. I did treat myself today to a fancy lunch (complete with lime vodka gimlet), and a spa pedicure. My spa appointment is tomorrow.
40 is the new 30, and I plan to enjoy it with my urban family as well as the fam I was born into.
