I was RVP and on Panhel at the same time!! I held the appointed office of Intramural's Chair though (not sure if your college panhellenic has small appointed offices)-- not a major office! To correct what Shannan said-- you are there for your chapter for Recruitment-- you are not able to be a Rho Gam-- which I missed out on and wished I could have done BUT I loved being RVP!!
I am not sure if there are set rules or not since I was able to do it! But do what Sherra said and contact that person-- or even contact EO and ask!
