Again, agreeing with ksigrc here.
ITs your hubbies parents. If you guys can afford it, and especially given that your hubby is the wage earner of the family as well as the fact you despise your in-laws for an unknown reason, it would look really petty of you to protest too much.
Just take comfort in your new BMW.
OH as an added note:
If your hubby is just going to do it anyway, whats the point in ceating drama and bad feelings when he is just going to over rule you?
Also, if he is the kind of person to just give in because you don't want to do it, but will resent you for interfering, don't protest it.
